Research is promoted across every faculty as an essential part of quality improvement and institutional development.
The Research Committee, together with the IQAC, works to provide a supportive research environment and appropriate resources in every field of study. A Central Instrumentation Facility Centre supports research in the physical, chemical and biological sciences with high-end instruments and laboratory facilities.
Research culture is strengthened through interactions with scientists, professors and industrialists invited for conferences and seminars. Funding has been secured through CPE, UGC minor and major research projects, and other schemes.
The committee guides research planning, facilities and support for researchers.

The Research Advisory Committee helps develop research culture and attitude among students and teachers.
Procedural and practical support is provided to researchers, with infrastructure made available for their work.
Experts from BARC, BAMU, NMU and RSTU–Nagpur have engaged budding researchers through talks and shared experience.
Students participate in Avishkar research competitions and Science Talent Search examinations; 428 students and faculty participated at state and university levels.
The college has received CPE, RUSA, DBT and UGC support, including Basic Research Grants for its science departments.
Faculty have reported 285 peer-reviewed papers and 119 books or chapters, alongside 30 seminars, conferences and workshops.
Thirteen linkages and eleven MoUs support research, training and field projects. Consultancy is offered in scientific testing and analysis.
The IPR Cell monitors and addresses research and intellectual-property matters.
