Our alumni association
Amritputra — the College Alumni Association
Amritputra (माजी विद्यार्थी संघ) was established on 24 December 2010 and is registered with its own bank account. It brings former students and teachers of S.I. Patil Arts, G.B. Patel Science & S.T.K.V. Sangh Commerce College, Shahada together to support the college and the generations that follow.
Gratitude in action
To create educational facilities for the all-round development of students of the college and the Mandal’s institutions, and to take part in its work with gratitude towards the alma mater, the teachers and the Mandal.
Objectives
- Run a consumer store on a no-profit, no-loss basis
- Gift books, equipment and educational aids to the college
- Present periodicals of international standard
- Organise workshops, seminars and training classes for students
Annual activities
- 9 October — Kisan Din blood-donation camp
- 24 December — Pujya Sane Guruji Jayanti and alumni gathering
- April — annual member-registration drive
- August — special member-registration drive
Membership
- Life member (all former students): ₹1,100
- Annual member (final-year students): ₹100
- Honorary member (teachers): ₹2,100
Fees are as published by the college. Pay by cash, crossed cheque or demand draft in favour of “President, Amritputra (Alumni Association) Shahada” and send the filled form to the Secretary, Alumni Association, at the college address.
